Arrival and Departure

Check-in from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Early check-in
          Although early check-in is not available, we can store your luggage in our common areas if you arrive between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
 • Late check-in
    This is only available with prior authorization; you must contact us one day before your arrival or reply to the message you will receive welcoming you a day before check-in at 9 a.m. PST.

                **Same-day reservations must be check-in before 4:30 p.m. These policies don’t apply to our distinguished guests.

Check- Out Any Time Before 11 a.m.

• Early check-out
     We kindly request that guests departing before 8 a.m. be considerate of others and keep noise levels to a minimum.

• Late check-out  ( Not Allowed)
If you pass the designated check-out time of 11 a.m., we will contact you using the information on file. If we have not received a response after one hour, we reserve the right to enter the unit, remove your belongings, change the locks, and take any additional measures we deem appropriate. We will also charge a penalty of half a day’s stay for late departure.

Parking Douglas House  and Cambie Lodge:

We have 6 spots next to the Douglas Guest House (or underneath the modern pink building next door, at 464 West 13th Ave) and one spot directly in front of Cambie Lodge. If you can’t find an available parking spot, you will find a map on the front door, where we will show you where a street parking is, as there is no street parking available in front of the house. Please note that parking is free; it is limited to availability. And we don’t reserve parking places.

No Parking Provided in Windsor House:

Please be advised that this property does not offer parking facilities. However, we would be happy to provide you with a list of nearby parking options.


We offer an internet connection as a complimentary service; we do not charge any extra fee. For this reason, we are not responsible for temporary bad connections or problems caused by the internet provider.


Complete room cleaning is only done after guests check out. For extended bookings, some interim cleaning exceptions apply.
Fresh towels, trash pickup, or additional bathroom items are available every day from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. by request.

Quiet time From 10 pm to 8 am

Considering that it is a house made in the early 1900s and respecting our guests’ peace, the noise must be minimal from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

No Gatherings

he rooms are limited to registered occupants. Visitors are allowed outside the quiet hours only.


All areas, including the room smoking-free, vaping-free and cannabis-free. Per Vancouver City law, smokers must be at least 7 meters from the entire property.

Damage and Breakages

Please take care of our home. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur, especially if you accidentally spill something – it’s much easier to clean if we know what it is and act quickly. We do not normally charge for breakages, but we reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant.


You have access to the building and your room 24 hours a day throughout your stay using a set of keys given to you when you register on arrival. You have full responsibility for these keys for the duration of your stay. Lost keys will be charged at CAD $50.00 per key.

Lost Property

We keep the lost property only for one month, we are happy to return items that have been left following departure. However, there will be a charge for the total cost of postage and packaging.

House Kitchen

No open for guest use.

Pets ( Not Allowed) 

We love animals, but out of respect for allergies and discomfort of our guests, our properties do not allow pets for guests or visitors on our entire property.
Modifications of  Room
If a booking is made for a specific room and the room reserved is required to meet specific guest needs, or it is unusable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to transfer the booking to an alternative room of similar quality.


We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.
